    Days to Maturity: 100-120 Days

    Seeds per pack: 15

    • Choose a sunny spot: Okra needs at least six hours of direct sunlight per day to grow well, so choose a spot in your garden that gets plenty of sun.

    • Prepare the soil: Okra prefers well-draining soil with a pH of 6.5 to 7.5. Work some compost or well-rotted manure into the soil before planting to provide nutrients and improve soil structure.

    • Plant the seeds: Plant okra seeds in spring, after the last frost date in your area. Sow the seeds 1 inch deep and 3 inches apart. You can thin the seedlings to 1-2 feet apart once they are a few inches tall.

    • Water regularly: Okra needs consistent moisture to grow well, so water regularly, especially during dry spells. Avoid overwatering, which can cause root rot.

    • Fertilize: Okra is a heavy feeder, so fertilize with a balanced fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season.

    • Control pests and diseases: Watch for pests like aphids, spider mites, and stink bugs, which can damage okra plants. Treat infestations with insecticidal soap or neem oil. Also, keep an eye out for fungal diseases like powdery mildew and treat promptly with a fungicide.

    • Harvest the pods: Okra pods are ready to harvest when they are 2-4 inches long. Pick them frequently, as leaving them on the plant for too long can cause them to become tough and woody.
